What They Needed

• A large projection image capable of displaying readable images at 100’ from wide angles
• Ambient light levels of 20fc required a minimum of 80fL of brightness
• Rear projection to allow the projector to be out of the sightline
• Secure the projector from theft and tampering
• A signal path from the projector to the A/V Control desk 250’ away

• Hitachi 8000 lumen Projector with a 0.8 throw ration on-axis lens
• Chief cage mount for projector to reduce chance of theft or damage
• Da-lite Tensioned electric rear projection screen 164” diagonal mounted from new structure
• Extron DTP Transmitter/Receiver pair for sending 4K video over shielded cat5e up to 330’
• SMP streaming media processor allowing a dedicated feed for recording and/or live streaming
• Simple in-wall controller for turning the projector on/off and dropping the screen
